You're mixing tires (even front to rear) with very different handling characteristics -- IMHO the result under normal driving conditions isn't likely to be noticeable ... BUT, I suspect that spirited driving and emergency handling will be compromised.
I wouldn't recommend it!

Or this is just your opinion only?

Good gawd people, his car isn't going to explode or fall off the road if he mixes tires for a couple of months of regular driving. He's not going to the track or even on a hard run. Obviously, it's not ideal, it's a compromise.
OP, If you need more similar advice, just visit overlycautiousninnies.com.
It's fine for a short time. Just get a feel for it before drifting around the mall parking lot or running through crowded crosswalks full of children and the elderly.

My Ride: 2009 535xi Platinum Gray. M sport, Premium, Cold, Logic, PDC, Sirius, and Bamboo.
Do you have a spare tire/ doughnut in your trunk?
BMW USA doesn't include them on cars equipped with runflats.
I switched away from runflats before taking delivery of mine. I had to buy a spare for the trunk or run the risk of being without.
I still have two dunlop 18" runflats off taken before devliery if anyone is interested, see below

Also, to the OP:
I believe it is not at all recommended to mix r/fs and non-r/fs even if pairs of same are on different axles
You have a "new" vehicle so just keep it up to spec!

Just curious.. are you an expert in tires to make such a statement?
Or this is just your opinion only?
