Hi,
I am the OP, and now have >107,000 on my '06 525i, in service June 2005. I have followed the BMW maintenance schedule per iDrive. I purchased the maintenance program, so I had brake pads, a few oil changes and plugs at 100,000, filters changed under the maintenance program, which was $1,600 to buy I believe. It was worth it. I paid out-of-pocket for the recent tranny, rear and power steering fluid flushes. I have had no problems with the car except sunroof open/close noise way back when it was pretty new, they replaced the sunroof. No material issues, none. (Did I just jinx myself? Yikes!)
