Does that sensor have the wire harness attached or is it the sensor only with a plug connector? perhaps you pinched the wire harness when reinstalling the valve cover? without physically seeing the car, I'm shooting in the dark here. Perhaps you replaced the wrong sensor. Not to insult your capability, but the exhaust cam is the one closest to the fenders and the intake cam is the one closest to the middle of the engine. I personally have never replaced them. Does the fault description say anything other than exhaust cam sensor bank B?
