CA Fob vs. Non-CA Fob?

Thanks for that. I have written my service writer and mentioned this to him. I already have an appt sched for the battery cable recall and to catch up on other things. Hopefully, they'll be able to program that key fob for the Comfort Access functions at that time.

Follow up: It makes perfect sense now. The fob that does not work in "keyless" mode has fresh printing on the back side while the good fob has all the writing worn off. Gotta be a new, replacement fob that was never programmed. We've got some clever folks on this board!

I had exactly this problem. They ultimately found that fobs 1 and 3 were programmed, but #2 wasn't. (I wondered who had #3)!
