hmmm this seems kind of weird, my A/c only blows cold on the passenger side, not the driver side. blows cold on start, and rear vents blow cold too. thought maybe could be low on freon but i checked and PSi are good, added enough to still be within safe PSI and still nothing. anything i could check? very odd, i did some searching and all i could find was people having warm blow only on driver and not passenger and this was fixed with a little freon add-on.

thanks for the help guys.

Not sure how adding freon will help one side blow colder than another or help a warmer side blow colder to match another... check your idrive for the climate settings and make sure both sides are set to cold... simple but often overlooked.

i did searching and all i read was people noticing the passenger side blowing warm and driver side cold and adding little freon fixed the problem. i found it strange myself too, but figure it was worth a shot even thought mine is the opposite. just doesn't make any sense. i had it blowing cold air on both sides yesterday morning, til i hit the MAX a/c button and again it went back to driver side blowing warm and every other vent cold. i really puzzled and yes i did check the climate control on idrive and have it set to cold.

maybe im doing something wrong? im new with this car, doubt it could be that difficult to work the a/c but i wish i can fix this. any other suggestions from anyone???

this is some basic stuff, but are both your temp dials set to the same? and, are all three green leds lit down the right side, indicating fully auto operation?

yeah both side temps at same level, messed with the A/c in every way possible, still i get nothing but warm air on the driver side and cold everywhere else. i have no idea what could cause this, its just mind boggling.

please any suggestions? its a really hot day today and it sucks only have 1 side to cool down the car and really its not enough. anything you guys can suggest i look at? any help high appreciated
