A/C On = inability to stop and shift smoothly for you too?
#11
I have found that if I am in manual shift mode on the automatic that I can come to a stop in 3rd and it is a little smoother that in normal "D". It is probably due to the last downshift that usually comes right when you are about to stop.

Nothing yet. Didn't get to the dealer today.
EDIT: As I mentioned in the original post, there is a software update in the making according to my SA which will allow for the retroactive removal of the comfort stop function. That should help somewhat to alleviate the issue. I am on a quest to find out why the problem is exacerbated by the AC being on. Hopefully, in the coming days, I will get my car back to the service department and they will be able to research the issue some more and make a determination on whether or not a fix is possible. I will certainly post with further details.

My Ride: 520d/full leather/prof. nav/prof. audio/logic 7/bluetooth/
I don't know if this is any help, but last week I did a long testdrive with the X6 and there was no problem at all on this matter
(my E60 is not an auto)
The automatic gear box in the X6 is however different I guess than the one in the E60
but it proves they can get it right (at least with the X6)
