Hi all,
I live in Bangkok and own the 530i E60 manufactured from Indonesia. My car has the DVD Navigator drive. But, the NAV system is another option. Normally, as claimed by BMW Thailand, it should be CCC (option 609), not option 601. And after asking to the BMW Thailand, they said that it is impracticable as all vehicle options are as its order-pack-list of CKD kit and were installed by the manufacturing only.
So, is the NAV system/CCC 609 the software or hardware? If it is the software, can the dealer simply update to my car? Thank you for all replies.
