Congrats! You'll love the SMG as I do. Like everyone says, put her in Sport and the shifts are quicker, however I found that you still need feather the pedal as you would normally in a manual transmission when sequencing through the gears. It does not take long to get the knack, and you'll never want a slush box again.
Too bad they don't offer SMG in the E60 anymore.
