just wondering if i can buy microfilters for our cars locally? i called bmw and they want to charge $130 for two...yeah right. amazon has them for $30 total, but if they are local it would be better.

anyone ever go over the service interval on the microfilter? doesn't seem to smell funky inside my car at all, so i'm wondering if it is even necessary at the moment.

Not all microfilters are created equal. Been down that road in the past and found that the cheap aftermarket filters don't last nearly as long as factory replacement filters.

The best I've found is at Germanfilters.com. You get two filters for $50.00

Hope this helps.
