If you fill in which country you live in it will be easier for the forum members to help you...

I've a 530d M Sport on order which had a delivery date of October which has now changed to January. Dealer not really helping with a reason for delay.
Demand your dealer to tell you, heck, you are a paying customer!
There shouldn't be any reasons for such a delay.
Call an other dealer if this one do not talk to you.

No reason for a delay of that at all.
I've got a 535d on order, due to arrive in a couple of weeks. I got fed this BS with a couple of dealers about the order changing.
IIRC, if its more than 40 days later than the original date, you can get cancel the order.
It sounds to me like they've bumped your order back to allow someone else to take your build slot. Totally unacceptable and I would either cancel the order or try and get some thing for free. Perhaps three years' free servicing?
