I bought some v6.1 cables and I am having an issue. The left side fog light is brighter than the other when pressing the brake. I changed the bulb and the same side still had an issue. What happens if I place the left module on the right side? That is my next step to try and find the problem source. Your help would be much apprecieated.

Don't switch the units. They are Not interchangeable.
On the V6.1 there is no circuit involved in the Fog light at all, so this issue is not being caused by the cables itself something else. Its either a difference in the light reflector or the LCM is not outputting the same voltage on both sides of the car.
Try using the other brake line (grey wire) to see if that helps.
