2005 545I Black Saphire Metalic, with Black Dakota Leather, Poplar trim. Sport Package, MTech Body kit and Spoiler, HUD, Comfort Seats, Navigation, Premium sound, CWP, Heated Rear Seats, Window shades. Valentine 1 hardwired, Aux input.
I know a few who have had the Dunlops replaced with the Bridgestones, and are very happy. No personal experience though.

My Ride: Silver 530i Sports and Premum Package with Navigation. 06/04 build date.
I have the Bridgestones and haven't had any problems with them. They came on my car in San Diego when I got it last year.

it's pretty quiet, grips well, but in tends to trammline in O.C, freeways. Also noticed it on trip to las vegas. It could also be strong winds in vegas. Never had Dunlops, so can't compare...I thihk there is also another thread concerning bridgestones...

[/quote]I am in Los Angeles, and I was at a dealer earlier today.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Bridgestones on a 545 sport. I am picking up my 545 in about a month, and like everyone else, I had heard bad things about the Dunlops.
Does anybody know if this an official switch of tire? Or is it just luck of the draw?

My Ride: 2005 545 Black Sapphire/Black Dakota,Sports Package,Logic 7,Fold -down rear seats
Had an '04 545 Sport with the Dunlops and now have an '05 545 Sport with the Bridgestones so I can tell you first hand that in my opinion, there is no comparison in the ride between the two. The Brigestone is by far the better tire.

Bridgestones here, recently changed the rear tyres at 19,500 miles. Front are still good for 25+ I think. I'd say they wear really well.
Cant compare on the grip but I've not had any problems
