Thanks for the info once again. Really appreciate your help. Had to get this as an import as there are no BMW dealers in one of the states of Malaysia I'm living in and plus we do not get to customize our BMW's even if we order them direct from the BMW dealers from other states. Cars come as is brand new. Sad.
Hmmm... I've had a thought.

I dunno if these tyre pressures are specific to my model (535d) since my car is rather heavier than yours...

You can blame Proton for that. Malaysian import taxes on cars make the cost differential after tax of the different options so small that all the major importers will import only a fixed (and normally rather high) spec car. As a youngster in K.L. in the 80s, I honestly thought that all 5ers (they were E28's at the time) were either 520i's, 525i's or 528i's and that they all came with alloy wheels, air conditioning and foglamps as standard. What a rude shock it was to arrive in Europe in 1989 to find 518's, 518i's, 524td's and 528e's, many with plastic wheel covers and almost no added extras to speak of. Needless to say, questions were asked ... and answered - see the opening 2 sentences above.

Your best bet is to look in the manual that's downloadable from the "information" page on this site. Here's the link: http://e60.net/information/. If that fails...
I'm afraid it's not the best bet and it will fail.

Strangely enough our manuals (including this one) refer us to the plaque on our e60s.

Oh, incidentally,

There are two ways of writing the numbers in Japanese, in Hindu-Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) or in Chinese numerals

Never knew they wrote them in the Hindu-Arabic numerals. Learn something new every day!

AFAIK no.

Incidentally, I've looked at my "plaque" and it says for tyres of your dimensions:

Normal: F 2.2 R 2.5 (Bar) so 32 & 36 psi
Fully laden: F 2.7 R 3.1 (Bar) so 39 & 45 psi

ABC
I would subtract 5 psi with RFTs. Tried it when I had RFTs on and car's riding became a little smoother at any speed and any load.

You can just try it

My e60 is supplied with RFTs only ex-factory.

The pressures on the plaque in the driver's door are those which are recommended for the car as coming off the production line.

If someone wants to experiment then that's up to them but I wouldn't want to be responsible for any consequences.

True - never seen em written any way other than the characters in practice. Then again, my experience to date with this has been with Nissans for the Asian market.
