Dear Forummers,
I've done a search in the forums for the correct tyre pressure for the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT tyre pressure. I wasn't able to find anything on the correct pressure. The tyre size is 245/40 R18 93W. Could anyone advise me on the correct tyre pressure in kPa or psi please? thanks.

saw that but don't understand what it says on that plaque on the door as everything's written in Japanese. This car was a UK Specification bought as an import from Japan.

Where is your owner's manual?? Is it in Japanese too? Even so the pictures and the numbers indicating pressure figures should be the same.

If you see numbers like 2.6 and 2.9 that's the pressure in Bar (1 Bar=100kPa). Numbers like 37 and 42 are in PSI.
Just a thought.

I assume there are diagrams of number of passengers, car orienatation, and the numbers (including tyre dimensions) are in arabic.

Thanks aybeesea. Will check it out. Do RFT's require a higher pressure compared to non-RFT's of the same size?
Incidentally, I've looked at my "plaque" and it says for tyres of your dimensions:
Normal: F 2.2 R 2.5 (Bar) so 32 & 36 psi
Fully laden: F 2.7 R 3.1 (Bar) so 39 & 45 psi
