Guys i tend to drive pretty agressively but safe, but i have noticed that i am not able to even slightly chirp the tires of my e60 with or without the traction control and dsc off what gives . Could it be the clutch delay valve or does this car just not have enough power? I am not into the boy racer burn outs or anything like that but some type of second gear antics would surfice, at this rate i will never wear out my ps sports. Hey as much as they cost though that might be a good thing NAWWW i want a little smoke from time to time how bout you 530 owners

Thanks for updating your sig.
Now that I know what you have and not having a 530 I can't help.
Hopefully some of the 530 6-speed (non-SMG) can help you out.

Try to turn all systems off (even the car) kiddin.
Anyway turn dsc off, select 1st, build up the revvs almost to the redline and then quickly dump the clutch and floor the throttle and away u go. That should be more than enough for some wheel spin and myabe even for some smoke!

a chirp or even an actual burn out is no problem out of first gear with all system turned off, its the second and third gear snatches that i dont understand why it wont do it. I may be the clutch delay valve or even the longer throws of the gear spaceing. This is not a really big deal but even in my fiat 131 super brava i could snatch second gear and it probably had 115 hp at the most.

You'll need to be real brutal and quick on the 1-2 shift to get a chirp...I've only had it happen 2 of 3 times on my SMG in Accelaration assist mode. And this is on slippery 225 width SNOW tires

Well keep in mind... your fiat is a Front wheel drive? so when you are accelerating all the weight goes to the rear of the car which makes the front a lot lighter and hence no weight up there... Much easier to spin the wheels.

On the other hand... the E60 is a rear wheel drive with those nice wide 19" wheels (I assume they are wide since they are 19"s) and grippy Michilins its harder to chirp them. The weight during acceleration is all thrown to the rear all pushing down on those 19"s... makes it stick to the ground more.
