how strict do you after to follow it? Ive just got told today that i shouldnt take it over 3000rpm and i thought it was 4000rpm. i havent been 4000rpm but been about 3500rpm.
also i went for a long run today on the motorway. i was doing 70MPH and i was only getting 29mpg. That is quite poor. Will it increase after the break in period?

Hi
I'm afraid you'll have to disregard all figures till you have done approx 4000 to 5000 miles!
Please don't worry about the economy . I drive my 530 as hard as I can ( without upsetting other road users!) I get 34mpg around Berkshire and easily 38 mpg on a run ( often wth amazing average speeds). OBC seems pretty accurate when compared to brim to brim fillings and GPS speed/distance checks.
Enjoy the car!
