Well I am at 2000km, or 1200miles and the manual says I can gradually increase my engine and vehicle speed
I accelerated with authority all the way to 3/4 throttle and engine speed of about 5500 rpm, its pretty even at that

I hit 2000 km. yesterday and went for a little fun last night. I went on and off the major highway in Toronto, it is the 401 (it is 16 lanes). I would slow down on the on-ramp, about 5 km/hr, and floor it to redline up to 140 km/hr on the straight away, then get off at the next exit and do it again.
This car is fast. I never realized how much power it had until now. I kept it in DS. You really appreciate how much good tires matter, I was sometimes getting a little loss of traction in the back, even with DSC/DTC on. I guess it is all that torque. I kept the stereo off so I could appreciate the sound of the V8 at high revs, beautiful.
By the way, until now, I was at 13.8L/100 km, but I do a lot of highway driving in 6th gear. But last night I must have used about a quarter tank of gas in about 20 minutes.
