My Ride: BMW 525i e60 (private) M-style,, Carbon Black, HUD, MM Interface.

too much brake lube is also not advisable as it will stick dirt to it.
Brakes of this type will have more noise coming to a stop. They are not intended for smooth and silent stops, but for braking as hard as possible under any condition.
I know it is a different beast, but I have these type of brakes on my Superbike and they are loud, squeaking pieces.. but men.. do they stop on the track.

The same thing happened to me when i installed slotted rotors/hawk hps pads on my WRX. i think its just the name of the game when you switch to anything other than blank rotors.
