This is why theya are called Stealership! Enough said.... Do it yourself, if you can't then a reputable INDY shop would be my next choice. I would only take my car in ONLY if there was no other option...

its funny that you posted this during this week. my brake light sensor just came on....luckily i ordered new Hawk pads and R1 concepts cross drilled & slotted rotors just last week. Im going to DIY along with my brother this coming weekend. The local dealer wanted an astronomical price (close to yours) to do the same work...

ultimately its going to cost me roughly HALF what they quoted me and arguably i will have a better than stock set-up afterwards. Since i was/am in your same situation....i definitey recommend you look elsewhere for the brake job....that is unless of course this recession hasnt impacted you and you are not price sensitive.

btw i recommend Acute Performance....good price and very responsive thus far. my parts should arrive today. look for a post later after all is complete and GOOD LUCK!

I suggest you to check your brake pads yourself. I've drive over 10 000 km since idrive reported about the front brake bads.. There still 5mm. I have new ones but there no reason to change them yeat..

Just had my front brake rotors, pads, sensor and brake fluid change (it was do as well) for done for $517 at my local indy, they also used centric pads which have close to zero brake dust.

Good Luck!
