Hey Guys and Gals
I have a very hard pedal they do stop me, but if I needed to panic stop ... no way.
I checked the vac line and the valve was bad so i replaced it... But that did not help.
I'm thinking it's the Booster. I can hear a shooosh sound coming from under the dash.

Any thoughts...

Thanks Leslie

A hard pedal and the sound you describe points to your brake booster. Get it looked after ASAP.

You are problably loosing pressure from your brake booster thats why its making the shooosh sound. Without the brake booster, you will not have brake assist so thats why you get the hard pedal. So probably changing it will fix it.
