Rotated my wheels the other day and took a look at the brake pads. The calipers looked average size but the pistons and pads look small for a vehicle this size. Now I know why my breaks are wearing fast, and dusting like crazy. My little 2500lb honda has bigger pads in front and about the same in the rear. Does the 550 have bigger calipers and pads? Has anyone done a swap. The rotors are nice size. The service indicators are showing the rears to have less mileage? I have never had a set of rears need replacing before the fronts. Most of the time the rears will almost last two front pad changes on other vehicles.
