Brake discs/rotors - what brand?
I have Hawk HPS pads and the stopping power is not as good as OEM. Definitely less dust though.
I think R1concept rotors are one piece and the OEM are two piece. The inner section is aluminum riveted to the cast iron disc. This reduces the unsprung weight.
I think the best possible combination for daily driving is OEM rotors and pads. This is just my experience.

i recommend acuteperformance as a vendor....great customer service!
for most the R1 Concepts rotors and Hawk HPS pads are a great combo as well....i bought a set but am looking to go another direction....however id still recommend it for others...

Hi guys I had a quick rotors/brakes question!
I changed my brakes pads with HAWKS about 4 months ago, and I installed my Slotted rotors about 5 months before that. But ever since the pads where changed the car squeaks too much...what seems to be the problem??

Maybe not bedded correctly, or not lubed in the correct spots.

The noise you hear is a high pitch vibration. lubing all the contact points (not the brake pad face that contacts the rotor!) will help silence most if not all of the noise.
