Brake booster recall question
So I've already relaxed my brake booster once 5 yrs ago when the car had about 60k miles and now that it's at 103k miles it has went out again. There is a recall from bmw but it's a hose. If this "hose" does not fix it is bmw still liable to fix my brake booster since the oil dripping in the brake booster due to a fault hose probably ruined it?

I'm a little unclear since I actually didn't do this or know about it.
But.. if the recall was simply for a hose to be switched, and now it's leaking again.. I doubt that it's part of any warranty, it's called wear and tear. If you're lucky and you have an extended warranty, I can't remember the verbage, but mileage is supposed to be 110K ? So you'd just squeak under it. But years wise you might be over..

The recall is for a bad design hose that leads from the vacume pump to the brake booster. And oil passes into the brake booster . The new one has a valve that will not let oil pass into the booster . When they perform the recall fix , if they find that oil has entered the brake booster , they will replace it .. From my understanding this only applies to the V/8 engines .
