Hey guys bought a beautiful 525i that has 19" 166 wheels. It is easy to see the seller put brand new tires on the vehicle before selling it

Is there a way to tell if these rims are replicas or OEM?

The reason I ask is because of some vibrations that pick up around 50 and get worse close to 75mph. I searched the forums regarding vibrations and got the Hunter balance done at the dealer, the vibrations are better but can still feel it "in the seat" not in the steering wheel though anymore.

My next idea in troubleshooting is figuring out if these wheels are replicas? Would the BMW dealer have known? they didn't say anything after the balance.

could be a bent rim. take a wheel off and take a pic of the back. Tell the dealer its still outta balance, did you buy it from a dealer? I am positive the seller knew they were like that if you bought from a private seller

No got them from a dealer so won't do any good asking. I'm taking the service rep next week in the car for a drive to see what he thinks, just wondering if there is some sort of stamp, number, etc to look on the rim for OEM to check off another box in troubleshooting.
