Boot/Trunk lid wiring

Boot/Trunk lid wiring
Had a boot lid open error on a friends car (525d M Sport 4 door 2009) looked online and found common cause is the wiring coming down from lid.
Checked and seen all but one of the wires had breaks, would like to know what each of the wires is for not these are what I saw (may have the solid/stripe wrong way round on some)
1. White/Brown
2. White/Brown
3. White/Brown
4. White/Black
5. White/Yellow
6. Yellow/Grey
7. Yellow
8. Brown (ground)
Fine with German codes
WS=WHITE
SW=BLACK
GE=YELLOW
GR=GREY
BR=BROWN
