HI
Can the bonnet switch wake up the car while it is in the sleep mode without touching the bonnet?

Thanks

Surely,if your bonnet switch has "tripped",it would set off the alarm unless the alarm was not set when you locked the car.If the alarm was not set, then try some "packing" between the switch and bonnet (assuming that the switch functions OK-a multimeter will confirm).

The bonnet switch will wake up the car only if tripped from of to on or vice versa. However if you do not touch it (unless the switch is broke) it should not wake up.
