The e90 only comes with Angel Eyes if you order it with the Xenon lights option. I believe in the US, the Xenon comes as a standard hence the Angel Eyes.

Hella and in-pro is starting to sell Angel Eyes retrofit kits for other makes, like VW Golf.

[/quote]Ya but thats only because they can claim it as a "safety" issue... What can they claim with the Angel Eyes? NOTHING! Nothing but copy cat!
Notice BMW never put the side turn signals on the mirrors hehehe BMW always had them on the side... since when? 1993? 1994? on the side black molding?

The side indicators on mirrors are found first on MB and that's why you might never see it on a BMW.

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
Forget the lame turn signals on mirrors - I LOVE the blue pathway lights under our mirrors when you lock/unlock the car!

My wife's Ford Mondeo has these "puddle lights". I think they are actually of limited use. When you lock/unlock the car the cabin lights come on, so there's quite a lot of light around already. These lights only help if you have parked in a smallish puddle hiding in the shadows and you can't see it. I wouldn't pay extra just for these. I guess the extended lights package adds other things as well.
Ever thought how annoying it is that when BMW bring out a new model the specification resets to a poor base? Everything that was standard on the old model becomes an option on the new. I know everyone maker does it, and it makes sense for them to keep the model fresh, but really - you end up with Fords coming better equipped than BMWs. Can't be right can it?
