Today's Wall St Journal is reporting that BMW is set to become the world's best selling premium brand this year, to 11/05 BMW sold 1,020,156 vehicles compared to Mercedes' 961,600. Would be the first time since 1993 that BMW has sold more than Mercedes. Also reports what we already know thanks to Fred's monthly sales data that BMW sales are up in the US with Mercedes suffering a small decline.

Apparently heading for just under 400,000 in global sales this year. Not sure how that number is calculated as some of the cars sold in the US as Lexus are sold as Toyota in other markets, presumably it's from the markets where the Lexus brand is available.

[[/quote]Where is Lexus in the array?

Lexus= 400,000 units. But they are going to start selling them in Japan to try to blunt the German invasion of the island.
