Any suggestions? The disc is a memorex lightscribe dvd r.. maybe a bad file torrent? I got the torrent from e90 post.

Anyone else experience this?
Use "Verbatim" DVD+R

these new discs suck big time for anyone living near the border of the two halves. having to shut down and switch discs everytime you cross is a big reason to stick with the 2009 and older disc.

I have sucessfully burned the 2009.1 and 2010.1 nav updates using Verbatim DVD-R disc and ImgBurn software. Make sure you put the write speed at 1x instead of 24x or whatever it defaults to. It takes a few more minutes but seems to work better. ImgBurn is free and can be downloaded here: http://www.imgburn.com/

Later.

Hi, It does not work with me when I burn it with the built in Win 7 Burn Disc feature. The BMW DVD player does not seem to be able to read it. However, I suspect that the Navigation system may be looking at the Disc title. What disc title are you specifying when you burned it? Thanks!

I haven't driven by a cam yet...I just searched for the closest one, and the icon showed on the map when I clicked on it.

When I went in the speed/ red light cam menu....there is an option to do a radius search for them, and you can select up to a 500 mile radius

Please be more specific, where did you find the speed/red light cam menu?
