I could not find few streets in new one which was there in 2009 DVD.
How much does the 2009 DVD cost and is it faster than the 2010?

Those things are related to your car's software program and any updates BMW has done, not the actual DVD itself which really only contains the data.

I've updated to 2009 version, the graphic looks much better than 2006. Is the 2010 any different in terms of graphics or layout?
Thanks!

Honestly I just updated the disc to 2010 over the weekend and havent used the Nav features at all, only running on the assit window at present. So I couldnt tell you if it has a faster response time, etc. I dont travel alot where I need the NAV, nor is Denver super dense like living in the NE.

From what I have heard on e90Post, they say the response time is faster, because they split the data on to two discs now, instead of the larger 1 disc of the 2009 which means the cpu has less data to scan, but I wouldnt think it would make a significant difference.

Like said earlier, whatever updates you get, its not earth shattering OMG I have a new NAV feeling, and DEFINITELY not worth pay a couple hundred dollars for!!!

Ill give it a dry run on the way home, and see if I notice any changes.

BMW switched from NavTeq source data to TeleAtlas for 2010. The two disk set is required for the amount of data.

If I do the firmware update, will this void my warranty?

I own a 2008 550 which was built late in 2007. The NAV has always been in-accurate by roughly 150 to 300 feet, going well past your address, both showing remaining distance and when announcing "You Have Arrived." This makes it impossible to trust in cities such as Los Angeles or San Francisco, with lots of streets all over the place. BMA has claimed, "It is working to spec." Yet, one of their corporate folks claimed it should be close to ten feet in terms of accuracy.

BMW blamed Navteq but today I got a new, Tele Atlas 2020 disc and it is no different. Has anyone else had this problem? What is your accuracy - how close or off from the actual address is it? Thanks for your help.
