Hi guys, glad to be a part of the 5series forum. They say when it rains it Poors, well this month my e9 was running rich so I had the carbies adjusted .. easy fix! Now onto the e60.. We’ve had the 530i for 12 years, it’s been amazing but occasionally those electrical gremlins pop up and some times disappear. This time the car didn’t start and after 20 mins it started then a couple of days later the transmission warning light came on and then went away. I’ve researched it and it appears to be the ivm module. Is the ivm module for a right hand side car the same as the left hand drive cars? I’ve looked online and on YouTube and they look very different. Does anyone know where I can buy a new right hand side ivm module (I live in Australia) . Thanks

IVMs are found only on the N62 V8 cars. What you have shown is the main Siemens ECU for your car.
