Default Bmw e60 radio. headsup display cut out 0.5 secounds

My screen, sound and headsup display, cutting out randomly after 5-10 min drive. when warm no probems. The cut-out doesn't cause the iDrive to reboot. I have changed the MPM in rear, did not chance a thing. battery is new also.
I had water damage in the right side passanger of the car. did dry the car out for 1 mounth.

My car is a bmw e60 545i 04.
any ideas? cause im out..

Here's my guess. When you had water in the car and dried it out:

- some wires have corrosion on them
- some wiring harnesses have corrosion on them

One thing that Screen, Sound and HUD have in common is MOST, start troubleshooting there, most likely an ULF module if you have one.

@scottalexander Checked all the wires where the water damage was. all dried out no corrosion on any wires. all ground point looking good.
I did chance the ground points in the engine right side, they were not looking that good. problem is still here.
today it also made a fault on the dynamic drive, maybe its due to some power problems for the dynamic drive module not sure... :/

I think the smart thing to do is hook up a computer and see what it's telling you is wrong. A visual is good if you find it but if you are puzzled is time for INPA or another program so you don't have to guess.

My MPM seems ok but did voltage check and The red wire w yellow stripe doesn’t show any voltage
can anyone tell me where that sources from or if that’s what it should be ?

i have checked fuses. And radio sometimes plays perfect

mpm has been replaced a year back and the cic also and just seems that something isn’t sending power... is there a relay that may work intermittent

thx for help

It sounds like you may have latent water damage somewhere. Seen it before. But but the water has dried out now. Sure it has but often times the damage won't show up until many months later though.

This mpm has never been in water the previous one had, any ideas on whether wire 7 should have voltage is appreciated

There's an e60 repair manual on here that contains the wiring diagram.
