Wife has an X5. She had the problem referenced by evolution above where on side was hung up and the other side not. Car wouldn't go to complete Full at the gas station. The gauge wouldn't budge for a long time and then went down. We didn't know where empty was Car was under warranty then. It took them 3 visits to finally get it right. Not that the fix was so hard, they just kept screwing it up.
