Had my Pads replaced by my local garage on my 525d, they've also changed the front discs, question is this: On idrive (which they have reset) the rear pads are showing the correct milage till next service yet the front ones are dropping super quick, i.e. drive 100 miles and the idrive drops 5000 miles.....does this sound like a faulty sensor?

correct me if im wrong but typically front brakes do wear faster than the rear breaks but not at that speed. has to be a sensor issue. take it back to the place and show them what you are talking about on the idrive. Make them take off the pads and compare the wearing and then you will infact find out if it is the sensor!

Hi all, had a new sesnor fitted getting the same results....driving 400 miles and losing 1000's of miles of the wear indicator guessing this is now gonna be an idrive problem...??
