After reading through the F1 official site about what kers is about see http://www.formula1.com/news/technical/2009/0/612.html, l begin to understand what the 5 series charging of battery by braking system is and how it may work. While in F1 it is used to store enegy which is released later to boost engine torque, on the 5er it is used to charge the engine battery; one step away from the F1 application. Imagine if a similar application can be implemented on the M5 .
