It will be automatically renewed if you gave them your CC at the beginning when you bought your car. I opted not to give them that Info.

I have used it only once in almost 2years, first year free, but I did renew.

I figure with a cell phone in the car working through the bluetooth, it is just as easy to dial BMW assist direct, and probably faster from what I have read. In fact, on my Idrive it lists the contact numbers to call in place of where BMW assist info use to come up.
