BT works now in Germany, but had problems too. We are just a little bit ahead, not much.
Assist... we can log on on the internet and configure routes that we can send to our cars. We can send phone numbers or simply text messages as memos to our cars. BMW Assist is doing everything for us we ask them for, without extra service charge. When you request something, like phone numbers or directions, they can send it to your car too...

There goes Iceman padding his post count...

Actually, I had a double post show up yesterday for the first time ever. I thought flood control was still in place but with a reduced time delay. I wonder what's going on now?

When I was in NM, I had to work with a retarded 26K connection even though SBC had it labeled 56K. I had a wireless connection in Los Cruces and it, too, was slower than a snail. At least the price was right. I feel for you, Ice.

I have used BMW Assist when I got a flat. I have gotten letters also but it doesn't say the costs to renew. I did get something as an option for $4.95 per call (directions, weather, something else).
What is the cost to renew and what do you get for that?

You don't need BMW Assist for breakdowns or flats, I thought we got BMW Roadside Assistance for this. Roadside Assistance is seperate from the BMW Assist, isn't it?
