I have just recieved my second letter form BMWNa about the demise of my Assist contract. I am wondering should i renew something that i have not use as of yet not even sure with all the updates that i have gotten if it still works. And with now the onset of a bluetooth retrofit, it would have to be shut off anyway. If the assist is turned off and you are in a accident will they still send the police? Raise your hands if you are going to renew and vote for Bush, or let it lapse and vote for Kerry

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
I have used BMW Assist when I got a flat. I have gotten letters also but it doesn't say the costs to renew. I did get something as an option for $4.95 per call (directions,weather,something else).
What is the cost to renew and what do you get for that?

I thought I will not renew BMW Assist, but that was before I found out what cool options we have with it in Germany. It is different than the US BMW Assist, and worth the money. But I wouldn't renew it if I would be in the US.
