I've not noticed that I've been in an area of bad cell. Even when the cpt 9000 has no signal, doesn't the bmw assist have it's own module? It's on the older 'non' digital service, isn't it?

I guess I'm one of those people that buys lots of insurance, buys the security monitoring for my house: I'm buying piece of mind.

I don't think my car has the stolen car ability. Didn't that come out in 2005 or 2006?

I had the bad cell problem in Savannah,Georgia.I would check with BMW Assist, you might have the stolen car feature. I'm trying to buy piece of mind also but if it don't work ALL the time that I can depend on it, its a waste of money.
cheers

I just set up my BMW Assist - My question is - to get the restaurant number, sent to the iDrive, and the address, sent to the NAV, do I need the Concierge service (which is included) or the BMW Assist Response Center (which is $4.95US per call)? I think the service would be invaluable - but maybe not $4.95 invaluable!
