Hello ,

I have a problem with my bmw 530d , The clep was felt in the engine. and the pistons and the stuff is broken. It makes a tokking noice. the car is 130.000 km this isn't normal the car is from 05/2003 model E60. i heard it can be a factory default. i ve been to a BMW service the facture is around 7000 Eur, thats alot. The service would not help me because the car was imported from Germany.

can anybody give me an advise.

thanks

I agree, 130K is not a lot of mileage and to experience such a severe failure is extaordinary imo. I would press this point with BMW, usually in similar cases BMW offers to go 50/50 on the costs. This could be your only option to press other than selling the car (or paying the full amount).
