BMW 2004 545i e60 N62 Head Removal and Reinstallation
Hello, I am planning on removing the cylinder head on the drivers side of my 2004 BMW 545i n62. I have a service manual that shows the steps and what not but I wasn't sure if this was possible to do without dropping the engine?
If it is possible to do with engine still in car, are there any special tools needed?
I am also looking for a gasket kit to replace all of the gaskets needed however I am not entirely sure which ones I need. Does anybody recommend a kit that has them all?
If you have done this before please feel free to share any tips or advice you have, I have never removed a head before.
Thanks.
