I have a, 08 528i and a couple of weeks ago I got the SOS failure message and bluetooth no longer works to pair my iPhone.
I have a MULF2 High and iPod connection with USB and Aux port.
USB, Aux, and audio all work fine.
I thought it might be the MULF2 or TCU, but since all other parts of the system are working I'm not sure if it's a MOST issue, but I do have the SOS failure message and a high battery drain message.
From what I've read, the MULF2 takes over bluetooth control (in lieu of the TCU), but what's confusing is that USB and Aux are still functional.
Any ideas on the actual issue or what needs to be replaced? Could it be the bluetooth antenna?
