For those that use the Bluetooth for their phones, how many complaints do you get from people about hearing you or the sound quality?(except for my girlfriend) I'm sure it doesn't matter at all the phone you're using, but I have a Blackberry Bold(9700). Seems I have the most trouble at highway speed. I have all the windows closed and I try just talking at a normal level.

No issues with my B/T car connection. In fact I was told that I should lower my voice when talking - I tend to speak louder because I'm so used to using a speakerphone.

I get similar complaints and people can't often make out what I'm saying. I compare that to when I have a loaner vehicle that's newer than mine and the sound quality is huge. I think it's the older cars as mine is '05.

Sound quality is excellent in my 2005 545i. The only problem I get is on rainy or cloudy days...the connection is not good. I know its the bluetooth bc when I switch to the phone, the reception is perfect. Overall, I m very pleased with the quality (>300 days a year of sun here in az)

Interesting timing - I had had my 550 about 6 weeks and I have noticed that my iPhone has issues quite regularly via BT connection. It didn't seem that way in the beginning, but I have re-synched my BT connection a few times and now it isn't great at times. To fix it, when on call I switch between the phone as a source and then back to the car. This clears it right up. I am probably going to do another BT remove/pair to see if that changes it. It should be MUCH better then what I have...and very repeatable. Any one else?
Thanks,
DaveR

New to the forum - recently purchased an '06 E60 and BT'd my iPhone to iDrive. The first few days, perfect reception/pairing each time I entered the car. Just today, cloudy/windy/rainy -no Phone in the iDrive display. Once, switched over to 'Communication' menu on iDrive and that seemed to 'wake up' the pairing. The second time I switched sources on the iPhone.
