Bluetooth Professionl to regular BT

Hi Guys!
I tried searching the forum but didn't find much. I have a '05 530d equipped with Prof Nav and Prof Bluetooth (the one with the BMW bluetooth phone in the armrest). I know I can't connect another phone other the BMW one to the car. I can connect my Galaxy S2, the car "sees" my phone, I connect to it,it appears in my idrive but cannot call or receive calls through my Samsung.
I have the opportunity to buy a used BT module from another e60 that has regular BT setup. My question is, did anyone do this swap ? Do I only need to swap the BT module? Is the BT and TCU module the same thing?
Any advice/input is greatly appreciated.
