... a friend of mine has Carbon Black and before I knew what the color was actually called I just thought it was some dark blue color to me because it NEVER looked black. So, if you're fine with having a very dark blue car then by all means get Carbon Black. But, if you want a car that's actually black-looking then Sapphire is the way to go. Good luck!

carbon black looks dark dark blue...no thanks.
sapphire looks "glittery" imo...oh whaaaateverrrrr!
jet black is, well.....badass black. there is no mistaking jet black!

Personally I would have Jet Black next time if I have another E60..........Carbon is nice, but not really Black and feel slightly cheated after thinking I bought a Black car (was raining when I bought it)

I like matte black aka murdered out the most, but seeing how that isn't one of the options, I'd say carbon looks better than sapphire
