Not sure where the OP is based, but one important consideration in the US is that with the M Sport Package, only carbon black and jet black are available (not sapphire black).

... a friend of mine has Carbon Black and before I knew what the color was actually called I just thought it was some dark blue color to me because it NEVER looked black. So, if you're fine with having a very dark blue car then by all means get Carbon Black. But, if you want a car that's actually black-looking then Sapphire is the way to go. Good luck!

Personally I would have Jet Black next time if I have another E60..........Carbon is nice, but not really Black and feel slightly cheated after thinking I bought a Black car (was raining when I bought it)
