Carbon black and black sapphire are not close. Carbon black is not really black. It is very dark blue. Black sapphire is a metallic black.
I love the look of the carbon black. Both colors, however, look great on our E60s.

Jet Black. It looks the best and the meanest. The other colors are for the ladies on this forum.

Not sure where the OP is based, but one important consideration in the US is that with the M Sport Package, only carbon black and jet black are available (not sapphire black).
