gabman--

Congratulations!
I know now the most difficult thing for me is being able to accept anything less.
What I mean by this is when it comes time for me to buy a new car I'll be comparing every candidate to my 545.

My Ride: 2011 F10 535i -Brilliant Graphite/Oyster 2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car 2004 545i Black Sapphire/Truffle Brown interior

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I promised myself after my current G35, NO MORE BLACK CARS, go figure that I land up with black again. Mind you Nissan's paint quality left alot to be desired, so perhaps the effects of my hand waxing on my E60 will bring me greater pleasure.

I am confused about the Bluetooth issue. I have read many posts here about the issues. I was under the impression that I would need a new TCU and that this runs way over US $1,000.00, can imagine the Canadian cost. When I read the replies in this thread it would appear that all I need is a software upgrade that may cost
$100.00 - $200.00 . Which is it please?

When I went to see my car last night the dealer had put these real nice black winter mats in the car. I asked him where my the summer mats were and he replied that because it is winter now they thought it appropriate to include only winter mats. So I ask him the price of winter mats, tells me around Cad $150.00
and summer mats are CDA $ 270.00. Told him I would be pleased to have the summer ones back. What a racket. Can someone please tell me where on the internet I can order the appropriate winter mats for this vehicle. While you are at it , I kind of got fond of the rear red reflectors, so would appreciate a line of those as well.

Thanks again

Only cars produced before something like 3/2004 need a new TCU to work with Bluetooth. Your car was produced well past the cutoff so all you need is a software upgrade to get it...
