How much are deductibles over there? Most UK polices you're looking at ?300ish..($480), so you wouldn't claim, as it has to be declared for the next 3 years and screws your premium.

My company van got broken into last night and they got away with about 8 grand worth of equipment which is covered by my company and another $1500.00 of my personal stuff which is not . Im installing cameras and getting an H&K compact 45 sometime next week.

With regards to what you wrote above, it may not effect your current premium, but when shopping around in the future for a better quote the companies will no doubt be looking to see how many claims you made on your previous policy. I would therefore stick with you current plan and not claim.
