awaiting arrival of 530i in silver grey with black interior and anthracite wood. Black always looks clean. Grey seems boring, but just my opinion. Had e39 in aspen grey with black interior. Now have 2000 740iL in dark blue with sand interior, hard to keep clean

I currently have grey interior with anthracite maple wood - It looks shabby and is very difficult to keep clean. my advise would be to have Black interior and Light poplar wood - definately the best combo!

Having spent much time in this thought - I ordered the silver gray with biege - noticing that all the BMW brochures profile this unusual combination - most dealers are afriad to order this. In reality it is actually extremely pleasing as the gray has a touch of brown in it. I figured the PR people had thier choice and had view every possible combination and wanted to put the best foot forward... when the car came in - some of the staff came over to see this combo they had not seen so far!

Without reading everyone's replies...just the fact that you are thinking of anthracite wood makes me think that a black interior would look better. I think anthracite looks good ONLY with the black interior. Again, just my biased opinion.

I HAVE THE SILVER GRAY ON BLACK & LOVE IT... THE GRAY INT. WAS TOO ANEMIC & PLAIN IMO...

So you guys are gonna kill me......

I ended-up changing my mind on the color and went for Titanium Gray, with the black interior. Thanks for all the excellent feedback and advise!
