Thanks folks ... she's a beauty alright
You know this forum is great... in the last 12 or so hours i've struck a deal with someone in |London for the clip-in adaptor for my phone... people are real pleasent with their comments too... how refreshing.
The 'Beastie' is sat on the drive awaiting the sun coming out hehe a little driving today i think
the run in wont take to long as i do around 450 mls/week on the motorway.
Something weird this morning, I have a rubber ribbed boot liner that was custom made for my 745.... i trimmed mm's to get it to fit ... i was thinking alot more would have to be shaved off.

So, what's your first thoughts on the engine then? Have heard some people comment that the BMW diesel straight six is quite noisey for the first few k miles until it is run in, before quietening down?
Doesn't sound too good regarding the service (or lack of) you've received from your dealer - who is it incidently? Must admit, so far I've been very impressed with the dealer I'm buying through and in particular the sales representative (Williams in Manchester), although I haven't got the car yet so some way to go!
Man all you lucky people on the other side of the river have some nice looking cars! I guess it's just a matter of time, and patience, before we get ours..... I'm loving the new headlights and taillights!
